The PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic) is an internationally recognized academic English exam that anyone over the age of 16 with an advanced level of English can take. The PTE assesses four key skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

You can only apply for the PTE online. First, create a Pearson account through the official website http://pearsonpte.com. After creating your account, choose your test center and date to complete the registration.
The PTE exam consists of three sections, with time allocations as follows:
The exam takes approximately three hours. There is a 10-minute break after the second section (Reading). If you exceed this break time, the extra minutes will be deducted from your total exam time. If you don’t take the break, the 10 minutes are not added to your total time.
The passing score depends on the institution you're applying to, so it's important to check the requirements of the organization and refer to ÖSYM’s equivalency table: ÖSYM Equivalency Table.
PTE exam results are valid for 2 years.

Current PTE test centers are located in Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, Erzurum, Kayseri, Diyarbakır, and Denizli. As new centers may be added, it’s recommended to check the PTE website when registering.
