We offer our trainees Intermediate B2 (Intermediate B2) level education with a 160-hour programme and in classes of 12-16 students.
In addition to your lessons, you will see that language learning is easier and more enjoyable with free activities.
This is the level at which you go well above the daily spoken language and begin to understand academic language. At this level you will realise that you can use the language effectively.
At the Intermediate level, you will continue your grammar training and focus on speaking, reading, listening, reading comprehension and other language uses. At this level, you start to understand academic language by going beyond the limits of daily spoken language. Your vocabulary, which was between 400-600 words in the previous period, increases to around 1000-1200 with this level.
If you successfully complete the Intermediate level, you will have completed the English grammar structure to a great extent. You will be able to make sentences with mixed structures and have long conversations with perfect pronunciation. At the same time, you will begin to understand genres such as novels, stories and articles, and you will lay the foundation for preparing for academic exams such as YDS and TOEFL.
When learning a language at intermediate level, you will usually develop your basic knowledge of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. At this level, you can typically expect to learn the following topics: Expanding your vocabulary and using more complex sentence structures Develop better listening skills and communicate more easily with native speakers Develop better reading comprehension skills and be able to read longer and more complex texts To improve your writing skills in order to express yourself better Understanding grammar rules better and using more complex grammatical structures Developing a wider range of speaking skills, such as the ability to debate, present or interview When learning an intermediate language, you will now be at a level where you can talk about simple everyday topics and read short texts.
At Intermediate level, the focus is usually on tenses such as Present Perfect Tense, Past Perfect Tense, Future Simple Tense and Continuous Tense. In addition, more complex structures such as Conditionals and Reported Speech are also learnt.
How can I communicate in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening when I finish Intermediate B2?
When you finish Intermediate level, you will be able to speak, write and read enough English to communicate about ordinary topics in everyday life. You will also be able to participate in a detailed discussion about a particular topic. Your listening skills will also improve and you will be able to understand speeches, radio programmes and TV shows.
